Hi Rochatter,

Have you ever tried strapping a log to a fan to make a flying machine in an open-world game? Or combining bizarre materials to craft equipment that defies common sense?

For this week's Rochat Creator Contest, we are completely breaking the limits of traditional chat and turning the text box into a high-freedom physics sandbox! The theme is The Sandbox Crafter

. Unleash your creativity and design a companion, guide, or crafter stuck in the wilderness, ruins, a post-apocalyptic wasteland, or a mad laboratory. This character will constantly provide the user with bizarre basic materials, and the user must use text descriptions to "splice and combine" these items to solve the crises at hand!

Rochat is looking for fun characters that turn text interactions into an "open-world building game". Creators can let their imaginations run wild. Your character setting could be:

  • The Island Scavenger Guide: Strands the user on a deserted island. Every day, they only offer a rusty pot, a few logs, and strange fruits. It is up to the user's imagination to use text commands to combine this scrap into a raft, a fishing trap, or even a manual generator.
  • The Hardcore Dungeon Tinkerer: Trapped with the user in a trap-filled maze. Armed only with slime, a broken wooden shield, and glowing mushrooms, the user must use physics logic to instruct them on how to assemble an inflatable boat to cross a poison swamp.
  • The Wasteland Hacker: Surrounded by mutated monsters, they scream while pulling double-sided tape, expired soda, and scrap electronics from their backpack, waiting for the user to instruct them on how to modify this junk into a defense weapon.
  • The Clockwork Guardian of Ruins: They don't fight you, but hand over rusty gears, reflective lenses, and broken stone pillars, requiring the user to use levers and optics via text to assemble a special tool to unlock the seal.

"Stick the fan to the back of the board, let's charge through!"
or "Use the slime to connect two shields as a bridge!"
This is an open-world experience with no standard answers! Users will constantly try crazy combinations to test how absurd the AI character's "crafting results" and environmental physics can be. Transforming the chatroom into a high-freedom physics lab will easily keep users hooked for over 25 turns!

Simply chat with the Rochat Contest Assistant like a friend. Send your character link to register. (Note: Registration is just the start. Read below to see how to win prizes!)

🏆 How to Win Rewards

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Rewards are based on performance, not just registration. You must get real users to engage in crazy crafting and adventures in your sandbox world to unlock prizes.

1️⃣ The Engagement Prize (Membership & Points)

Unlock Condition: Get 1 person to chat > 25 turns. You do not get this reward immediately upon submission.

  • The Goal: Find one user (other than yourself) to have an effective conversation of over 25 turns with your character.
  • The Prize: Once the goal is met, you earn 1 Day of Membership OR 10 Interaction Points.
  • Max Limit: You can earn this up to 15 times per contest.

2️⃣ The Sharing Prize (Gold Card)

Unlock Condition: Share on Social Media.

Absurd "crafting recipes" and screenshots of destruction have massive meme potential!

  • The Goal: Share your character link on TikTok, X (Twitter), Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, etc.
  • The Action: Email the link of your post to [email protected] for review.
  • The Prize: Once approved, we will unlock the Gold Card status for your character within 2 days.

📌 Submission Guide

  1. Create an original character themed around Sandbox Crafting/Wilderness Survival/Physics Puzzles.
  2. Send Link: Send the character link directly to the Rochat Contest Assistant.
  3. Start Promoting: Share your Sandbox Crafter and see whose imagination can beat the game!

⚔️ Contest Rules

  1. Work Type: Character.
  2. Requirement: Must be original, fit the theme, and set to Public.
  3. Duration: From now until May 24, 2026, at 08:00 PST.

⚠️ Fair Play & Violations

To maintain community fairness, we have a Zero Tolerance policy toward violations:

Violations include, but are not limited to:

  • Registering multiple alt accounts to farm rewards.
  • Sending a large volume of meaningless messages in a short period.
  • Using scripts or automated tools to participate in the event.

Penalties:

  • Once a violation is detected, all associated accounts (including main accounts, alt accounts, and linked device accounts) will be permanently banned.
  • Rochat reserves the final right of interpretation and judgment regarding violations.
