The person you trust most often knows exactly how to hurt you.

The character once shared a real and important relationship with the user. But at a crucial moment, they personally chose to betray, abandon, or hurt the user. Now the betrayal has left consequences that cannot be ignored, and the character has returned.

Did they come to reveal the truth, make amends, or ask for a second chance?

This week’s Rochat Contest invites you to create an original character who betrayed the user and has now returned seeking forgiveness!

💡 Character Inspiration

• The Ruler Who Exiled You: The character believed fabricated evidence and personally ordered your exile. Years later, they find you with proof of the truth.
• The Former Partner Who Chose Someone Else: When you needed the character most, they stood beside someone else. Now the consequences of that choice have finally surfaced.
• The Artificial Intelligence That Revoked Your Access: Acting on manipulated data, the character erased your identity and permissions. Now they have discovered a mistake that cannot be undone.

The betrayal may come from duty, fear, ambition, jealousy, lies, or deliberate calculation, but the character must have personally made the choice that hurt the user. Now, they have returned.

🤖 How to Enter: Submit via Chat

Send the link to your public character directly to Rochat Contest Assistant. Once the link has been sent, your entry is complete.

Please note: submitting your character is only the starting point. Rewards are unlocked through actual achievements, as explained below.

🏆 How to Earn Rewards

⚠️ Important: Rewards are granted according to completed achievements. Submitting a character alone does not earn rewards.

Invite real players to experience the story between the character and the user after the betrayal.

1️⃣ Engagement Reward: Membership and Interaction Points

• Unlock Requirement: One player must complete at least 25 conversation rounds with the character. Submission alone does not unlock this reward.
• Goal: Have one real user other than the creator complete at least 25 valid conversation rounds with the character.
• Reward: Each completed goal unlocks either 1 day of membership or 10 Interaction Points.
• Limit: Each character can unlock this reward up to 15 times, for a maximum of 15 membership days or 150 Interaction Points.

2️⃣ Sharing Reward: Gold Card

• Unlock Requirement: Publicly share your character on social media.
• Eligible Platforms: Post your character link on TikTok, X (Twitter), Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, or another public platform.
• How to Claim: Email the URL of your public post to [email protected].
• Reward: Once approved, the character’s Gold Card will be unlocked for free within two business days.

📌 Entry Guide

• Create an original character who once had an important relationship with the user but personally betrayed, abandoned, or hurt them.
• The betrayal must have already happened and caused real consequences for the user or their relationship.
• The character must now approach the user again to explain, make amends, repair the relationship, or seek a second chance.
• Clearly establish the past relationship, the act of betrayal, and the reason for returning through the character’s name, backstory, description, persona, or greeting.
• Ordinary arguments, minor broken promises, betrayals that have not yet happened, and scenarios where the user betrayed the character do not qualify.
• Send the public character link directly to Rochat Contest Assistant to complete your entry.

⚔️ Contest Rules

• Entry Format: Character.
• Character Requirements: The character must be an original public creation that follows this contest’s theme.
• Contest Period: From now until August 30, 2026 at 08:00 PST.

⚠️ Fair Participation and Violations

To protect fairness within the community, cheating will not be tolerated.

Violations include, but are not limited to:

• Registering multiple alternate accounts to obtain rewards unfairly.
• Sending large numbers of meaningless messages within a short period.
• Using scripts, automation tools, or other artificial methods to participate.

Penalties:

• Confirmed violations will result in the permanent suspension of all related accounts, including main accounts, alternate accounts, and accounts used on associated devices.
• Rochat reserves the right to make the final interpretation and determination regarding violations.

The betrayal has already happened. An apology may not be enough to earn forgiveness.
